The National Railway Museum of New Zealand Inc was formed to act as a Dedicated public museum to our National Rail Heritage and the impact it has had on New Zealanders everyday lives. We are a Volunteer based organisation and need your help to complete our vision.

A National Railway Museum dedicated to interpret the impact that railways had on the development of New Zealand as a country and New Zealanders as a people.

Use of funds

Funds will be used for the Construction of the Museum as well as the Storage, Preservation & Restoration of Artifacts contained in the Museum.
