The NZDSA provides support and information to people whose lives have been changed by Down syndrome.

The NZDSA provides an 0800 number, website, resources, support parent groups throughout NZ, advocacy, quarterly journal and biannual Forums for training and information for parents. Our journal and resources are available and sent nationally and internationally.

We have been operating since 1981 and have established 20 support groups thoughout NZ. We have built up resources which are disseminated to families, support groups, schools and hosptials thoughtout NZ and the rest of the world.
