Omaha Beach Surf Lifesaving Club

Omaha Beach SLSC provides lifeguard patrols, a call out squad, junior surf and surf sports for Omaha Beach and the surrounding area of the

Auckland

Omaha Beach SLSC is a family orientated club that encourages all to join in and enjoy beach sports which then can lead to becoming a lifeguard and providing a service to the surrounding community. We train lifeguards, junior surf members and parents. These services are provided through sponsorship and fund raising which takes place all year.

We raise funds by events such as auctions, movies on the beach, and sandcastle competitions, and collect at local community days e.g. the Matakana Raft race, the Kowhai Festival, concerts and Jandal day. We apply for and receive grants from various trusts and charities for both running costs and equipment. We are grateful for any assistance.
