As with many islands in the Pacific, The Solomons are home to impoverished communities living life in the third world. Here everyday life is a struggle. The One Family Foundation is a not for profit organisation raising awareness and funds to support the basic human rights of these and other Pacific peoples.
Inspired by the people of Malaita, a remote province in the Solomon Islands, One Family Foundation was founded after many months exploring the most effective way to help improve their extremely difficult lives. Our organisation focusses on three areas essential to advancing a communities' wellbeing. Providing the tools for better education, facilitating economic development and improving access to effective healthcare. Addressing these issues is a vital foundation for communities to build to equality in this ever advancing world.
One Family Foundation does not affiliate with any one religion nor does it support political parties.
