Blue Light aims to reduce young people becoming an offender or victim of crime and to build better relations between the police, young people, their parents and the community.
Blue Light encourages safe and healthy socialisation for young people with all Blue Light events being alcohol, drug and violence free.
Blue Light has been active in New Zealand for over 30 years. It remains strong throughout the Pacific and is now represented in the United Kingdom.
Blue Light is a nationwide incorporated society which has a national executive committee and operates 74 branches throughout New Zealand. Each branch is responsible for sourcing their own funding and organising their own activities.
