Parafed Taranaki (Taranaki Paraplegic and Physically Disabled Incorporated) was founded in 1976. Our aim is to grow and develop sport and recreational opportunities to disabled people within Taranaki. Parafed Taranaki can provide physical activity pathways from regional through to international levels. At ParaFed Taranaki we are excited about creating opportunities for disabled people to participate in sport and recreation!

Parafed Taranaki is located in Taranaki. Parafed Taranaki's main role is to organise and facilitate physical activity for people with a disability in Taranaki

Use of funds

Providing sport and recreational opportunities in the form of; Schools Programme, Wheelchair Basketball, Cycling, Kickboxing, Athletics, Swimming, Boccia, Surfing, Recreational Events such as Darts and Ten Pin Bowling, Youth Sports Club, Halberg Junior Disability Games
