Help restore PIC Porirua’s hall, a community hub for 60 years, to keep it safe and welcoming for future generations.
Wellington, Porirua City
Since its establishment as a foundational Pacific church in 1966, PIC Porirua Christ the King Church has been a fundamental pillar of the Cannons Creek community for nearly 60 years, a spiritual home for Pacific Island families.
Our hall has been host to all forms of celebrations, school holiday programmes, community workshops and whilst it has continued to be a centre for people to gather, it is sadly beginning to show its almost 60 years of use. As such, we want to reach out to our wider community to help rebuild and create a modern, safe space to continue serving its community and beyond.
Every contribution, big or small, will help us ensure our doors and hall remain open for generations to come. Join us in building a stronger future for not only our church but our wider Porirua community.
For the next while, the funds raised will help rebuild and upgrade PIC Porirua’s hall based on community needs—improving accessibility, safety, and modern facilities—while building the church according to God’s plan.
We're a PIC Church in the heart of Porirua, made up of different Pacific cultures, united in faith & love for our community. We aim to follow in the footsteps of our Lord and King, Jesus Christ, to grow together, care for others & share His message.
