Planet FM Community Access Radio (NFP)

Home to news, views, interests, music and beliefs in over thirty languages, including English, Planet FM has been championing diversity on the airwaves for over thirty years. One of twelve community access radio stations across Aotearoa, we’re a not-for-profit organisation that provides the training, facilities and platform for Aucklanders to make radio and podcasts.

Over the past few years we have been working with a group of organisations working in the settlement sector with the dream of creating a community hub; a one-stop-shop of services that meet the many needs of new Kiwis, ensuring they have access to information and services that promote health, wellbeing, inclusion and participation.

That dream is excitingly close to being realised, and now we are asking for your help! We have had tremendous support to get us off the ground and are now reaching out the community to contribute where they can. Every little bit counts, and all donations go towards the cost of this new purpose-built home, located in Mt Albert.
