Pukeko Preschool in Tauwhare

Pukeko Preschool is a community-led, licensed Early Childhood Centre, situated in the grounds of Tauwhare Primary School.

We offer a unique opportunity for children to experience a quality early childhood education in an idyllic rural setting.

We love the service we are able to provide to our community, and we know from feedback that our preschool families do too. However, our building is rather small and old, and our community is ready for a new purpose built preschool now. The Trust Board has worked hard over many years to plan the new building, and has been able to purchase the section next door to the current preschool and Tauwhare school.

We have the building plans finalised, resource consent granted, and now we are at the fundraising stage to secure funding for the whole building project before we start on our exciting new venture.
