Auckland
This year we have held four fundraising events in Auckland and brought huge exposure to the lives of some incredible children. I was able to return to Vietnam in July, along with bags of donated clothing and toys and spent a month visiting various orphanages.
Since our charity was formed in January 2012, we have raised over $6,000 and helped over 500 children in Vietnam by providing funds for education, clothing, toys and food.
We are a NZ registered charity who's mission is to help children living in poverty in Vietnam. Our key focus areas are education, healthcare, nutrition and ensuring children can live a happy childhood.
Bringing Christmas Joy 10 January 2013
On 21 December 2012, with help from some incredible volunteers I was able to purchase and deliver gifts to over 600 deserving children. It was the first time any of the children received a Christmas gift and our treats included food and toys. We also had a local volunteer dress up as Santa to surprise the children! This was all made possible thanks to my generous donators. I hope it made you all feel more blessed this Christmas, knowing that you were able to put a smile on anothers face.
