A vision to create safe, fun, caring and reliable, facility-based respite care for special needs and disabled Kiwi kids.
Nationwide
Rainbows Clubhouse began as a dream held by two parents.
They imagined an exceptionally-run facility, where special needs and disabled children like theirs could come for a fun and enriching holiday, giving parents and caregivers the break they so desperately need and deserve.
Now, with a charitable trust founded, a facility and site found, and a team of volunteers ready to muck in and make it happen, the Rainbows dream is becoming a reality...
Imagine a huge holiday-home-come-summer-camp – with kid-friendly accommodation and the best disabled facilities. Imagine lots of new friends to meet, space to play freely in and varied activities to occupy and enrich little lives.
Imagine all of this run by nurturing and patient volunteers – equipped to respond to each special needs and disabled child’s very individual requirements and challenges, and ready to give unlimited love and attention to them all.
This is Rainbows Clubhouse.
Whether for a few hours, a sleepover or a number of weeks, Rainbows Clubhouse will give NZ special needs and disabled kids everything they need to feel happy, loved and secure – while giving their parents and caregivers respite, with true peace of mind.
This is the Rainbows vision.
And - with your help - it can become a reality.
