HELP RICHER CITY ROLLER DERBY’S TRAVEL TEAMS SHAKE THINGS UP ALL OVER NEW ZEALAND, AND IN AUSTRALIA TOO!

Established in 2007 by a handful of women with a vision, we are a skater owned and operated Roller Derby league. We help women to find their place and discover their strengths in our fabulous crazy sport. Our All Stars travel team is ranked the NZ#1 and Convicts, our development team, is NZ#8**

Costs for travel and accommodation for away bouts in 2015 came to around $30,000. That’s an average of $1,100 per skater. In 2016, we are expecting that amount to be even higher with multiple tournaments in NZ and Australia.

Our skaters pay both yearly and monthly fees to be a part of the league. In addition to this, our skaters cover the majority of the travel and accommodation for away bouts out of their own pockets.

Fundraising helps RCRD to keep our travel & membership costs as accessible as possible, so more women can get involved in Roller Derby.

WE'D LOVE IT IF YOU COULD HELP US OUT.

We have over 3500 likes on our FaceBook page. If each of those fans could donate just $2, our costs would be reduced significantly. Please give a little, because every little helps.

UPDATE: We are so appreciative of any donations that we have decided that every donation of $5 or more, between now and the end of April 2016, will be put in a draw to win a 2016 Home Team Season Pass. IN ORDER TO BE ENTERED INTO THE DRAW YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR NAME AND EMAIL ADDRESS (i.e. there is no way for us to enter anonymous donations into the draw)
