As regional health services decline, hundreds of families need to come to Wellington for specialist treatment increasing the demand placed on our House.
We have now been in our wonderful new Ronald McDonald House for over a year, and we are able accommodate up to 34 families at any one time.
In 2013 over 500 families needed to stay at the Ronald McDonald House Wellington to be close to their children while they undergo medical treatment. No family pays to stay at the House.

Our brand-new Ronald McDonald House officially opened on Friday 26th October 2012. We have exciting facilites for our families such as four lounges, a huge 160sqm deck, kids play area, a games room, childrens art room, movie theatre, a small gym, and two expressing rooms for our Neonatal mums. Having had our first month in the new House, we now start the challenge of fundraising for the $1.3million annual operating costs.
