    Buddy was surrendered to the rescue in early September this year

    He had a fracture to the nose after being in an incident with his previous owner

    We took him to the vet specialists to ensure that his fracture was healing and not hurting

    Thankfully the fracture was healing well and was not the cause of his weight loss

    He is such a super sweet natured boy, and he is still a stallion which he will need his surgery shortly and a dental

    Today, 14 weeks on, this is Buddy ❤

  • Daisy

    We collected Daisy just a day after she turned 1 years old from the property we have been dealing with since February

    Daisy was infested with lice, so badly that you could see the infestation without needing to divide her fur

    We got her sedated to get her on the float, and the veterinarian that attended took bloods to see if there was anything out of the normal range - her bloods were not good for only being a year old but we continue to monitor this as time goes on

    Once we got her to our rescue block, we organised for her to get fully clipped to deal with the lice

    We had an amazing lady donate her time and clippers to help us relieve the girl of her itchiness

    We wormed her the next day and the worms were really bad but instantly was feeling better the next day

    Daisy has a hernia which needs to be surgically repaired when our winter months finish

    She has now gained weight and gaining trust with myself slowly, but has bonded with one of our amazing volunteers

    Please help us raise money to get Daisy the surgery she desperately needs 🙏
