Sands Kapiti helps local families who have experienced the death of a baby at any stage during pregnancy, or the death of a baby or infant.

We provide support, resources and information. We hold monthly support meetings, provide care bags, and when possible offer our 3D hand and foot casting service free of charge to families. All funds received via Give a Little will be put towards the continuing costs of these casts - each one is around $100 to complete.
Established in New Zealand in 1986, and Kapiti in 2010, we have offered support to a number of local families, and since 2013 we have been able to cast the hands and feet of a number of babies in order to give their families some tangible memories.
