SSFI provides a 5KitBox to children turning 5 whose families are experiencing financial hardship, via referrals from community agencies.

Hello and Thank You for stopping by.

School Start First Impressions is a registered charity that helps relieve the financial pressures of schooling, for children in need, in Franklin and South Auckland.

So far, we have helped 650 five year old's start school, with confidence!

We support children turning five with a school starter pack - 5KitBox.

Our 5KitBoxes contain all necessary school items including; a brand new school uniform, stationery and we pay for the child's school donations for their first year. Plus; school shoes, socks, underwear, school bag, lunch box and drink bottle.

We also celebrate the child's fifth birthday by buying them a birthday present and our partner 'Cakes for Kids' bake them a personalised birthday cake.

Currently we are helping 40 underprivileged five year old's a month start school.

All donations made go directly to these children's packs, paying for the items inside. We appreciate greatly any donations received, thank you!
