Second Chance Dog Rescue CHCH

Second Chance Dog Rescue CHCH

Cindy Lou is a 10 Year old Bichon needing urgent medical treatment.

Canterbury

Cindy Lou was originally living on the coast with her elderly owner in a retirement home until she passed away, unfortunately she had no family so Cindy was homeless, a lovely carer at the home took her in and rehomed her to an elderly family member in CHCH who has over the last few years been slowly deteriorating in health and has not been able to provide the care and love Cindy desperately needs.

Cindy is now in a loving foster home under the care of Second Chance, unfortuatley she didn't receive adequite medical care in her previous home so now needs a few things done to ensure she has a happy and healthy life.

-This includes urgent dental work ( Removing decaying teeth)

-Removing a large golf ball sized tumor from the back of her neck and testing it to make sure it is no cancer.

Large mole like skin tags that often tear and bleed causing discomfort and can lead to infection.

After a check up by the wonderful Vet at Avonside Wainoni Vet Clinic we were quoted $700.

As we only charge Desexing, Vaccination and registration when adopting our Dogs and Puppies out the rest of the costs come from fundraising and donations from our generous supporters.

We would be so grateful for help with Cindy Lou's vet treatment so we can ensure she is happy and pain free and find her loving forever home.
