Shoebox Christmas Trust

Shoebox Christmas Trust

We connect communities to deliver koha aroha in the form of Christmas gifts to children across Aotearoa so they know we have their back.

Nationwide

Shoebox Christmas Aotearoa provides positive experiences in the form of Christmas gifts for children so they know we care.

We're also in our second year of a coaching and mentoring framework to enable young people to lead their own projects within their own community.

--

We’ve been running the project in Wellington since 2014 where we started supporting 80 children. By the end of 2023 we will have delivered over 91,000 koha to whānaua and tamariki across Aotearoa. We're now working with over 200 schools and social services in 30 regions across Aotearoa (listed below).

Please note this isn't a donation page to buy Shoebox Christmas gifts, though we'll use some of the money for that if there are more missing gifts at the end of the year than what we have back-up gifters for, this page is to help with operational costs such as website hosting, development and maintenance, community requested improvements, bulk email and text costs etc.
