Covid-19 and a $50,000 theft have put our theatre's survival in jeopardy. Please support us if you can.
Auckland
More than $50,000 was stolen from Shoreside Theatre over the last couple of years.
And the effects of Covid-19 and the cancellation of our popular Agatha Christie season last year have made our funding situation worse.
The committee have worked hard to reduce costs and we've pressed on with our popular Shakespeare in the Park season in the hopes we can earn enough money to keep going, but we still need your support.
If Shoreside Theatre has made a difference in your life – has given you the opportunity to try something new, to make friends or to explore who you are. Or if you have enjoyed coming to see Shakespeare the in Park or Agatha Christie each year – please help us by donating.
Any amount you can contribute will help while we explore new funding opportunities
Shoreside Theatre is a registered charity, so any donation you can make is tax deductible.
Shoreside Theatre is one of the longest running community theatre groups on the North Shore.
We're a welcoming and friendly organisation that embraces anyone who wants to get involved.
We still need your help 8 February 2021
Thank you to everyone who supported our initial fundraising campaign which helped us pay our immediate debts and keep going long enough to get Shakespeare in the Park up and running.
But with no income since February 2020 and the upfront production costs of Shakespeare in the Park we are still struggling to keep up with our outgoings - any support would be greatly appreciated.
