Auckland needs a Stray Cat Rescue Centre. Lonely Miaow has rescued over 15,000 stray cats and kittens, and now 900 more need rescuing today, but nowhere to put them, so they must starve and die. This is the tip of the iceberg. There could be as many as 100,000 stray adults in Auckland, plus countless kitten every summer. Please help us build this much needed facility. Our aim is to build a stray cat rescue centre in Auckland. A costly venture but one that is needed. Lonely Miaow has rescued more than 15,000 stray cats + kittens with a rehoming rate of 75% at a cost over $2 million. 900 more to rescue today! But where?

Hi Rebecca, Very many thanks for your kind donation which will help the strays of Auckland. Sadly although 75% are rehomed some are too unsociable to save. We are pleased that NZVA now has a sensible euthanasia policy for vets. SPCA still away with the fairies sadly. Best wishes, Peter
