We are the Henderson arm of the St Vincent de Paul Society – a lay catholic organisation, inspired by the Gospel of Jesus, that aims to provide practical assistance to those in need, regardless of their status, religious belief or cultural background.
Our work takes various forms within the Henderson community. Social services carried out by our network of volunteers motivated by their faith & a genuine desire to make a difference, include:
· The distribution of food parcels, furniture, household goods & more
· Visiting people in their homes, in rest-homes and hospitals
· Providing transport
· Tutoring and mentoring
· Providing support via the telephone
Your donation will go towards funding the many outreach services offered, that make a difference to those who need it most, from providing food parcels to household items, transport & more.

The cost of living crisis isn't new news - the struggle is real & the need in our community has increased. What hasn't increased is our budget - donations are dwindling!
