For over 20 years, Te Manawa Family Services has been committed to providing high quality family violence programmes and services for all people. Our services are free to the community and include:
Non-violence programme (group and individual) for people who use violence in the home
Adult safety programme (group and individual) for people who have experienced family violence
Child Advocacy Service which is a home based programme for children who have experienced violence in their home
Family and Whanau Support Service to work flexibly and holistically with families and whanau to create and implement safety plans as well as connecting with other services and supports in the Manawatu
Youth and Parent Programme for young people and their parents as they work together to create violence free homes
Anti-bullying Projects which includes in school training and mentorship to create bully-free school communities
We are all trained social workers and counsellors who are passionate about helping families and whanau to thrive in safe and loving homes!
Your donation will assist us to continue to provide free services and increase the number of families and whanau we can work alongside each year.
More about us
Te Manawa Family Services is based in Palmerston North and Feilding. We provide a range of programmes and services for men, women and children to lessen the incidence and impact of family violence. We also work with young people and their parents.
