We are doing everything we can to remove barriers to our local rangatahi meeting their full potential.
Hawke's Bay, Central Hawke's Bay District
The primary purpose of the Trust is to support the breaking of intergenerational cycles of benefit dependency, violence, substance abuse and other social and economic deprivation by the support, mana enhancing, and development of youth.
To provide a range of health, education and social services based on Kaupapa Māori practices within Tamatea district with a particular emphasis on meeting the specific needs of Māori.
We believe our Charitable Trust as an asset to Central Hawke's Bay, and our venue "The Clubhouse" as a fun, non-judgmental, safe place to grow, be inspired and try new things. Once we are fully operational and have funding we will extend our opening hours and be open to all rangatahi.
Te Rima Ōrau means "The 5%". The inspiration of this name came about when our Chair was told that she "Waste's 95% of her time, on 5% of the population, and she should leave that 5% to Police and Oranga Tamarki"
We do not waste our time. We are investing our time. and we are inspired to prevent to help our rangatahi break down barriers, let them see their potential and the possibilities that there are and support them along their journey to wherever that may be.
Our committee is a group of passionate, beautiful people who all can walk the walk and talk the talk. We are all so different but yet paddling our waka in the same direction, to the same destination.
Funds donated here will be used on the ground assisting rangatahi to remove barriers.
