A retreat by the sea in Piha - individual rooms, all meals provided, counselling and massage can be added to your stay.

Te Wāhi Ora is a Women's Retreat space at Piha - a place for women run by women.

Te Wahi Ora is a Charitable Trust and is not run for profit. Our mission is to strengthen our communities by supporting women - creating a supportive space for women to pause, reflect, process what’s happening in their life … and decide how best to move forward.

Donations are used to offer women in need support subsidised accommodation. They also help with the day-to-day costs like staffing, maintenance and providing meals for those who stay with us. Your donations help keep Te Wāhi Ora's doors open!

I visited Te Wahi Ora from the UK in 2002. Bev's kindness and friendship over the weeks I was there brought great healing. The day before I left, I bought a triptych photograph of the beach in front of the house where river met the sea. It is now hanging in my sitting room and every time I look at it I can feel the sand and water under my feet. A daily reminder of hours standing there and simply 'being' and healing. Thank you Bev, and thank you to all those who share the vision.
