The Access to Adventure Charitable Trust

Empowering people living with accessible needs, chronic health conditions, or mental health challenges to experience saltwater adventures

Whangarei, Northland

Our aim is to raise funds to renovate and launch Northland’s first fully accessible fishing vessel, enabling people living with accessible needs, chronic health conditions, or mental health challenges to experience saltwater adventures across Northland and Auckland.

We will use fishing and saltwater adventures as a powerful tool for inclusion, healing, and community connection. These experiences will build participants confidence and reduce isolation, and more broadly change perceptions about accessibility and disability.

More about us

Our purpose is to improve the life quality of individuals with accessible needs, those living with chronic health conditions and those living with mental health challenges.
