The Links Foundation

Our page supports individuals and families affected by mental and other illnesses through The Links Foundation, in memory of Megan Coleman.

Canterbury, Selwyn District

In memory of our much-loved friend Megan Coleman, who tragically passed away due to mental illness, a group of us came together with a shared goal: to raise awareness about the importance of normalizing conversations around mental health and to provide much-needed financial support to individuals and families struggling with mental illness.

Our first step was to organize a golf competition, and in our inaugural year, we were overwhelmed by the support, raising over $35,000 for the "I Am Hope" foundation. This year, we continue our mission through The Links Foundation, a newly formed charitable trust. Our purpose is simple but vital: to support those affected by illness and their families during their most challenging times.

With a dedicated group of trustees and volunteers, we believe we can make a real difference. Your donation will help ensure that no family or individual walks alone in this journey. Please support us and be part of the change.

More about us

The Links Foundation was formed following the loss of a loved friend of the trustees due to mental illness. The trust aims to raise funds and awareness of health issues by organising events.
