The year isn't over, but we wanted to jump in here and say THANK YOU to all the bloody legends who have supported us this year.

The Period Place has now donated over:

    - donated 1.4 million+ disposable period products

    - donated over 10,000 reusable period products products

    We've also been able to:

    - deliver more menstrual health workshops

    - been able to be a part of the Period Product in Schools Education programme

    - successfully get bigger grants to get more products out into the regions

    - talk at the United Nations CSW event about period poverty in New Zealand and the pathway we're on to achieving our vision of Intergenerational Period Equity for Aotearoa

    - host our open day/market day for people to come into The Hub and buy reuseable period products and get heaps of cool education to take home

    - meet with HUNDREDS of people and organisations this year to help them reduce period stigma

    - eat, yep eat, because we need money to take home too for all the mahi we do, and we can't eat tampons

    - and more and more and more!

So here's to you and your loved ones as we enter the end of the year and the Christmas period - may you have a BLOODY great rest of 2022.

    - Team TPP x

  • The Period Place Market

      30 June 2022

We are so excited to announce that we are opening the doors to The Period Place Hub for a one-day Market day event!

Donations through Give a Little were what allowed us to have this Hub so we wanted to finally welcome you into this space.

We are selling reusable period underwear, reusable pads, menstrual cups, and discs (all from some of your favourite brands!) + period and menopause related books + fun merch and more

All of the profit goes directly to The Period Place, so while you are purchasing some reusable period products we are able to support other people who aren't able to afford these.

Saturday, 30th of July at The Period Place Hub in Onehunga.

Check out our Facebook for more event details.

  • Help us reach more communities!

    Kia ora everyone,

As of May 2022, we are proud to share that over the last few years with a lot of hard work we have finally reached over 1 million individual period products donated through The Period Place!

We couldn't have done this, without the support of everyone who has donated since TPP started - thank you isn't enough, but right now it's all we've got so thank you, thank you, thank you!

Due to the effects of COVID over the last few years as well as the growth of The Period Place (more people knowing about us!), we are getting more requests for support than we've ever had and unfortunately it's hard to keep up with the demand.

This is where we need your help, this Give a Little page allows you to donate and also run fundraisers if that's something you're interested in, to allow us to purchase more period products to reach more people.

So we welcome you to come on board and support Aotearoa, get rid of period poverty in our communities and promote period equity.

  • You bloody legends have donated over $12,000 already!

      23 April 2020

We're beyond bloody thankful to every single one of you - we've already raised over $12,000 for the Period Relief Pack fund.

That's 1,200 periods taken care of already 🩸🩸🩸

We're 12% to target - if you're stoked to see what we're doing, and the impact we're making in Aotearoa with your help, then please share this with your friends and whānau online.

What you would have spent on a couple of coffees this week, or on petrol or public transport is enough to give someone a hand this month managing their period, so they can focus on the important stuff.

Keep up the mahi you bloody legends!
