The Twinkle Foundation

The Twinkle Foundation

The Twinkle Foundation has an ongoing fundraising page for supporters if they would like to donate.

Nationwide

With the help from our generous donors and supporters (including a grant from Hutt City Council), The Twinkle Foundation raised enough money to produce and release the album "Action Songs & Rhymes for Young Tamariki". The album is now available for free on our website and on streaming platforms. https://soundcloud.com/thetwinklefoundation

Our next project is to record an album of lullabies.

We have left our givealittle page open if you would like to make a donation to The Twinkle Foundation towards the new lullabies album, or to support our teachers and whānau members for our annual wānanga.

The Twinkle Foundation is a collective of Suzuki teachers across Aotearoa who teach an educational music programme through the Suzuki Method and philosophy for 0-3 year olds and their whānau.

The class uses a range of music and movement including traditional folk songs, waiata, lullabies. pao and rhymes. You may be singing some at home already or your parents may have sung them to you. They tell simple stories or describe experiences that can be related to by all. Children and parents have the opportunity to sing, move, and play instruments with others during class, with resources offered to help support musical play at home.
