TimeOut is a New Zealand charity that connects generous holiday homeowners and accommodation providers with people facing a terminal illness. These stays give families and friends the chance to step away from daily pressures, spend precious time together, and create memories that last a lifetime.

For many, support during this time is focused on medical needs. TimeOut is different – we care for the whole family. A donated stay offers a much-needed break, easing stress and bringing comfort in knowing that others care enough to help.

As a nationwide charity, we also give holiday homeowners the opportunity to give back in a truly personal and rewarding way – by sharing their special place with families who need it most.

Our vision is simple: to make a TimeOut stay possible for every family in New Zealand living with terminal illness.

Our stays are generously gifted by holiday homeowners and accommodation providers, and much of our work has been powered by volunteers. But to meet growing demand and reach more families, we urgently need financial support.

- Processing applications and coordinating stays

- Managing and growing our holiday home database

- Building partnerships with patient referral organisations

- Expanding our fundraising efforts to keep TimeOut sustainable
