Fundraising for a Ceiling Hoist 9 July 2014
At Argo Trust we support people who have profound intellectual & physical disabilities. The people we support require full assistance from staff people to change positions, hop in and out of chairs or move around in general. We are now raising funds to purchase and install a ceiling hoist which will allow safe transfers for the people we support and our staff working here. The ceiling hoist will make lifting so much easier and safer and in a small bathroom like ours, it will be a space saver. Argo Trust is working hard to raise funds ourselves as equipment like this is not funded by the Government. Having this equipment installed in our bathroom will directly improve the lives of the people we support and help make lifting safer fro all our wonderful staff who work hard. We are now looking for donations to purchase a ceiling hoist. Please help us raise the funds needed - $20'000 to allow us make this a reality.
