UpStage enables creative collaboration across geographic and cultural differences; from school children to established artists, in NZ and around the world - the UpStage community uses the internet to collaborate on innovative participatory performances and events.

UpStage was first developed in 2003 and launched in 2004; since then it has been used by artists, schools, universities in NZ and around the world. Since 2007 we have held an annual festival, showcasing performances by a range of artists from school children to mature practitioners and community groups.
