Volunteering Otago connects people who want to volunteer with organisations that need volunteers.

We help to ensure that volunteering is successful, rewarding and beneficial to all parties involved.

Nearly 2000 individuals benefit from our services each year - 1200 are connected to volunteering opportunities, over 300 young people are engaged in our youth programmes, over 110 people are enrolled in the Supported Volunteering Programme and over 300 people are connected in the central lakes areas.

Kaitūao o te Taitonga | Volunteer South is a charitable trust that engages and supports both tūao volunteers and volunteer involving organisations and community groups in the Southern region of Aotearoa New Zealand.

There are four centres for Volunteer South: Ōtepoti Dunedin, Central Lakes, Waitaki and Waihōpai Invercargill. Our centre in Waihōpai is in proud partnership with Invercargill Citizens Advice Bureau.
