At Waka with Wings, we're passionate about supporting the next generation by providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed. Many families face financial limitations when it comes to supporting their children's aspirations. Waka with Wings alleviates some of these burdens by providing a platform for businesses to fund scholarships, nurturing young talent in the process.
With your support, we aim to raise funds to provide essential resources and opportunities for young people, including equipment and training for sports teams, uniforms, travel funds, tools for apprenticeships, costumes for performers, educational excursions for STEM studies, the annual Rotorua Youth Awards, and support for youth with special needs.

Waka with Wings (WwW) is a Rotorua charity dedicated to empowering and supporting young individuals in reaching their full potential through education, mentorship, and community engagement. Our mission is to inspire and uplift the youth, creating a society where every young person can thrive, contribute positively to their communities, and become future leaders and change-makers.
WwW's core values, rooted in te ao Māori, include Manaakitanga (spirit of caring and hospitality), Whanaungatanga (kinship and relationship), Kaitiakitanga (guardianship and stewardship), Kotahitanga (unity and solidarity), and Wairuatanga (spirituality).
We offer diverse projects, events, and services, such as the annual Rotorua Youth Awards and the Beyond 2050 STEM Festival, both of which have significant community support. These initiatives are designed to foster a sense of belonging and pride, ensuring sustainable growth and meaningful outcomes for individuals and the wider community.
