Wellington Progressive Jewish Congregation

Temple Sinai is Wellington's Progressive Jewish congregation. Located in central Wellington City, we offer services every Shabbat and join together as a community to celebrate the Jewish holidays and festivals. We have a thriving programme for children, engaging classes for adults, and comprehensive B'nei mitzvah programmes. We are active members in several interfaith organisations and participate in countless social programmes that benefit the greater Wellington region.

Our congregation receives no outside funding and depends entirely on donations. Your contribution will help immeasurably to help ensure our future as the only Progressive Jewish congregation in the nation's capital.

We believe that all Jews have a place within Judaism and should have an opportunity to study and carry out its precepts in their own lives. Our common origin, history and faith bind us together, regardless of how many nations we live in, or the different approaches we may take to religion and politics.
