Wharekaka Rest Home and Hospital in Martinborough is a community based not for profit charity with 20 beds for residential care, and 12 independent living villas in the heart of Martinborough, in the lovely Wairarapa. We are a small family-oriented service, much loved and supported by the local community.
We need to upgrade our aging facility so that we can continue to provide excellent care to local people within their community, and we need to raise funds for this.

Wharekaka Rest Home in Martinborough is a community based not for profit charity with 19 beds and ten independent living villas in the lovely Wairarapa. We have recently received accreditation for Hospital level care which will allow our residents and members of the wider Martinborough community to remain in this wonderful community as their needs change. This will provide a real benefit to the entire community by keeping families together and letting our residents stay where they feel safe near their families and with familiar staff and surroundings, not having to go through the major upheaval of a move to another area.
