We are so grateful to everyone who has donated to "Alex Hikes Aotearoa". This month we have purchased a fabulous bookshelf and a wide selection of books for Arohata Prison - books will be in the visitors room for children to read with their mother when they visit.
We've also donated some fabulous new board books for the Mum and Baby Bonding Room
We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support we are receiving from donors all around New Zealand. We've now supplied over 400 food packs that have helped more than 2000 children. We know there will be an ongoing need around New Zealand for support so appreciate every donation we receive
We couldn’t have done it without you! Thanks to our incredibly generous supporters, essential food supplies are being delivered to families from our Homework Club Schools.
We’ve provided over 100 boxes so far, including fruit & veges to families in Porirua and Cannons Creek, food parcels to families of Wesley School, boxes to Opawa School families; and we’ve also been able to pop a few extra food items into boxes being delivered by Breakfast Club to families at Glen Innes School and Glen Taylor School.
Items in the boxes include Bread, Milk, Cheese, Canned Fish, Pasta, Rice, Canned Fruit, Flour, Breakfast Cereal, Vegetables, and Amigo Nutrition Bars
