  • Maintaining our emergency housing shelter

    Our clients accomodation is dated and while it is warm and dry it is in dire need of renovations. Our kitchens and bathrooms in our units have had very little updating if any over the last 70 years and we are really needing new kitchen bench tops and sinks as 99% of the current ones have damages from leaking on and off over the last 27 years in particular. Our bathrooms are mostly original and our tapware, vanitys, showers and toilets are all needing replacing as the ongoing maintenace is unaffordable. Please help us to raise the funds to update our clients accomodation so that their environment reflects clearly our care and the importance of dignity.

  • Kitchen Progress

    Our new kitchen will be installed in January thanks to Kiwanis, Freemasons, Nanoosi and Pegasus Health! Out with the 60 year old one and in with the new!!!! We are so thankful to our donors and friends.

  • Kitchen renovations

      12 December 2019

    We are currently fundraising for our new kitchen that is to be installed after Christmas. The wonderful Kiwanis Christchurch Club have given us $3303.41 and we have another $3000 to raise prior to installment. It will be a fantastic space for Helen to teach women and children cooking skills and to prepare food for the various events we hold. All donations gratefully received towards this project.
