Stop religious discrimination in our schools!
Do you think children should be able to go to school without being evangelised or mistreated because of their family’s religion or non-religious views? Right now, 800 state schools are running religious indoctrination sessions, splitting up children by faith. Children who don’t believe the chosen faith get second-class treatment, like picking up rubbish, or being bullied for not believing.
Please help us as we take our case to the High Court and beyond..
We are a group of 20 parents, atheists and religious leaders within the Secular Education Network.
Donations will be deposited in a joint account in the names of David Hines and Tanya Jacob.
Where will your donations be spent?
1) By far the biggest part will be legal advice in our campaign in the High Court, costing tens of thousands of dollars.
2) Next will be possible court costs if we lose, and possible appeal costs.
3) If there's enough raised, we will contribute something toward travel costs for witnesses coming to the court from other parts of the country, and lobbying costs, such as meeting people in other parts of the country, and video-conferencing.
