My name is Vickie Cross. Three years ago I saw on my Facebook newsfeed that Campbell Live had reported a news item about child poverty in NZ. I watched it in horror.. there were children in my country actually going without breakfast or lunch or socks and shoes. or.. all of the above. I signed up with KidsCan right there and then. In 2015 the Government threw out the 'Feed the Kids' Bill. I made a decision that something must be done. The truth is, there are a number of concerns in this beautiful country and I want to be a part of the change. This page is a forum and a sharing of information so that we together, can improve this country's social standards, quality of life and to create a positive change - something to be proud of.
