International Belly Dance day to raise funds for the North Shore Women's Centre.
Shimmy Mob, a "Flash Mob" type event, the largest event of its kind by the number of geographical
territories covered in one day, creating awareness and raising funds for Women's and Children's shelters in participating communities. Dancers from around the world learn the same choreography, receive an official Shimmy Mob T-shirt, and perform the piece on World Belly dance
Day.
Funds raised via Shimmy Mob will be donated to abused women and children shelters throughout
the world. A percentage of the profits made from selling the official T-shirts goes towards Shimmy
Mob's selected charity.

Phoenix Belly Dance is sponsoring rehearsal venues and 100% of Funds raised from crowdfunding and flashmob collections will also go directly to the North Shore Women's Centre.
