My name is Salem Foxx, I'm 18 years old and I am a ballet dancer. I have been dancing since before I was 3 years old and I just love it.
Along with ballet, I also do jazz, contemporary, lyrical, acrobatic dance, tap, hip hop, and have added ballroom dancing to my list. I have working hard at my goal of having a career as a professional freelance dancer, choreographer, and have started my own dance school. I also want to eventually have my own dance company and tour around New Zealand.
I love teaching both boys and girls to love to dance.
But I also hope to encourage other boys to at least try ballet and really see how much strength a male dancer has/needs.
I have Aspergers Syndrome, which can make things a little harder for me, so I try even harder to reach my goals, which also makes it so much more rewarding when I do get there. I think that is what makes me a patient teacher and I love sharing my love and joy of movement. I think it also comes out in my choreographies as well, I have my own take on dance and it adds a bit of quirkiness.
I have won awards for my choreography and dancing, made it to National's for the last few years, been in a few productions, and have been teaching at different dance schools, along with my own, Foxx Dance Academy.
If you want to know more, check out my dance bio which I will put in the updates section.
Thanks for taking the time to read up about me.
