I am 21 years old and last year completed a Bachelor of Sport and Leisure Studies at Waikato University, and am now exploring the workforce before returning to study in the future. I come from a rowing background, where I competed at regional and national championship level and took up triathlon 18 months ago. I love the challenges endurance sport throws at you- there is nothing more satisfying than finishing a session to the best of your ability, or achieving something you never thought you could. I am racing Challenge Wanaka because it is held in my favourite place, on an amazing course with an even better atmosphere! You can always be sure that there will be a bit of heat and wind thrown into the mix which makes it even better! I have a strong ambition to make the NZ Age Group team to race overseas in the next couple of years- so I will be swimming, biking and running as fast as I can on the 18th January!
