We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome unwanted farm animals in and around the Waikato area and beyond as LARA Animal Rescue & Farm Sanctuary. We have now opened our farm Sanctuary to visitors, as a type of petting farm in order to fundraise. We would love to make our huge pond area safe for visitors too, particularly for children. So we need to raise funds to completely encircle the pond area with decked pathways, safety chain, chainlink barrier fencing, and hand rails then others can enjoy strolling round the pond, feeding the ducks etc and enlarging our sanctuary access areas to visitors.
