Eva was born with a diaphragmatic hernia defying all odds to be alive at birth her life has been a constant fight ever since. Having lived in Starship her whole life she has faced more life threatening infections and surgeries than can be counted. She now lives with complete gastrointestinal failure and is kept alive with a constant infusion of nutrients into her bloodstream and IV medications. Her body is full of lines and tube yet Eva’s like any other 6 year old she just fights harder and has to live every day like it’s a gift.
As it’s all about quality of life for Eva she is now able to have nights at home with nurses (the family have had to relocate close to the hospital0 but there is no care.
The Mitchell girls live life with gusto and believe in giving back and fundraising for charities they are passionate about. It is not often they accept help for Eva but this will help with running back and forward to hospital appointments and her massive supply of drugs.
Also the girls thought it would be a great laugh to help David lose his hair.
