I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2006 - 6 months after giving birth to my beautiful daughter. It was a scary time and took a couple of years to finally accept that I had a disease that has no cure.

I have managed to continue to work full-time although I struggle at times and need to rest, and have had a many relapses when I don't slow down!

I have been working for Maungatautari Ecological Island Trust for just over 3 years now, a project of huge scale and significance and I am so proud to be a part of it.

My dream is to be fit enough to walk over the Mountain and experience what all my colleagues and visitors to the Mountain experience along side nature whilst tramping over the Maunga. I ahve always thought it would be impossible as I suffer terribly with fatigue and balance issues (a coupe of many symptoms of MS), however - I have now been given an opportunity to get fit by way of a grant awarded by the Multiple Sclerosis Society of New Zealand, to help me achieve my goal.

I can DO THIS!!!! And I have heaps of supportive friends who have offered to do this with me too!

As a thank you for helping me make this dream come true, I am raising funds which will be split 50/50 between MS Waikato and Maungatautari Ecological Island Trust.

Please support me and encourage me along the way to achieve my ultimate goal by donating :)
