After living in the remote village of Chifunga in Malawi for 6 months as a secondary school teacher of 200 students, I have developed a greater appreciation of how fortunate we are in our Western society and how much we take for granted in our daily lives. I only hope that one day poverty and hunger will be eradicated for good, and that education becomes accessible to all.
