I have an Art degree from Otago Polytechnic, 1974. During a varied creative career, I worked as an artist/draughtsperson on numerous Mayan digs in Belize, Central America. It is this background of experience I am drawing on as I work to uncover the Cooper's Terrace site and bring those hidden stories to life. I am currently based in Tauranga, and in recent years once I got the Project under way, I have been flying down to Arrowtown for up to 2 months to work onsite, running the Cooper's Terrace Project, and showing locals the part of their gold-mining heritage that had been forgotten .
