We're a group of four individuals; three Kiwis and one Australian. In July 2016 we are heading across the world to begin the craziest two month road trip of all time.
We are taking part in the Mongol Rally, an incredible journey that begins in the UK and ends in Russia

Basically the Mongol Rally is a 16,000km car ride across Europe, The Middle East and Central Asia. 250 - 300 teams participate each year, with a small percentage actually making it to Russia.
There are only three rules:
(1) The car has to be tiny - no bigger than 1000cc
(2) We have to complete the journey on our own (no ringing Mum & Dad when things get tough)
(3) We must raise $2500NZD for Charity
SO WE NEED YOUR HELP TO GET US ACROSS THE FINISH LINE!!
Half of the $2500 dollars raised will go towards, the Mongol Rally's chosen charity - Cool Earth, this charity works along side indigenous villages to stop rainforest destruction.
We also get to choose a charity of our own to donate to. The charity we chose is close to our hearts and we hope close to yours too. Too many people in New Zealand suffer in silence from mental illness' like depression. The charity that we picked - Live More Awesome is dedicated to finding ways to help people deal with depression. They began the charity to offer a place to inspire others and for people to be able to talk openly about depression.
$1, $10, $400, $1000 (a bit optimistic) anything helps and we will be forever grateful.
We will also be extremely grateful for any donations that go towards our expenses on the trip. We are looking for companies to sponsor us and will happily support any New Zealand company!

Here's a rough idea of what we may need:
$20 will buy us -Maps and compasses-Tow rope-Duct tape
$50 will buy us -Camp cooker-Tents-Sleeping bags-First aid kit-Fire extinguisher
$100 will buy us -Spare wheels (essential..) -Car parts --Car insurance
$500 will get us -Travel insurance(pp) - Money towards flights
Once again, any money helps! $1 can get us a bottle of water on the road.
