After kicking cancers ass, this is my way of giving something back.
With your support, in 2011 we raised $1600 for Camp Quality and again, in 2014, $2720 for CanTeen New Zealand.
This year, in the tenth anniversary of my own battle with bowel cancer, and in memory of my Gran, Nancy Pike whom also fought and won her own battle against Breast Cancer - this one is for all the woman who are fighting the battle, who have won the battle and in memory of those whom have sadly lost the battle.
My hair will be shaved on what would have been my Gran's birthday, October 15th, then sent to Dunedin to be made into wigs ( I have made sure to shampoo, condition and brush my hair so it's in peak condition! ).
We have till October 14th to raise as much money as possible, I am aiming for $5000. Ambitious, but as you all know it's an amazing and worthwhile cause.
