I am a single mum with two small children, three wonderful horses and a big dream.
My two young children are now 11 and 10 and enjoy hiking, camping and being around horses. They have suffered some trauma in their lives, losing their father to suicide at 11 months and 2 years of age. Without my horses, I would not have coped with the loss.
We have had great times together hiking and camping our way across the two islands. Giving them some positive memories to replace traumatic ones. My dream is to get back to doing this with them! A couple more lovely memories that they can carry with them.
